By accepting the terms of this Statement, you acknowledge your consent to and permission to:
i) processing, storage, transfer, systematization, accumulation, depersonalization, destruction of your personal data.
ii) Transfer of personal data to counterparties and (or) partners of UZNEX in order to carry out procedures aimed at preventing the legalization of proceeds from crime, the financing of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
iii) processing of personal data using automated database management systems, as well as other software and hardware
2.1. Crypto asset
The term “Crypto-asset” or “crypto-assets” as used herein is a property right, which is a collection of digital records in a distributed ledger of data, having a value and an owner, including, but not limited to, bitcoin or ether, which is based on a cryptographic protocol of a computer network, which may be (i) centralized or decentralized, (ii) closed or open source, and (iii) used as a medium of exchange and/or store of value.
2.2. Personal data
The term "Personal Data" as used herein means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as a name, identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more factors specific to your physical, economic, cultural or social identity as an individual.
3. WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
UZNEX collects, processes and stores Personal Data received from you when you use the Service or in cases where you have given your consent. This Personal Data may include contact information, copies of identification documents provided by you or obtained from public databases, your government identification number, and information relating to your device or internet service (for example, IP address and MAC number).
3.1. Individual customers:
- Email address
- Mobile phone number
- Full legal name (including former name, and names in local language)
- Passport number, or any government issued ID number
- Date of birth
- Proof of identity (e.g. passport, driver’s license, or government-issued ID)
- Residential address
- Proof of residency
- Additional Personal Data or documentation at the discretion of our AML Team
3.2. Corporate customers:
- Corporate legal name (including the legal name in local language)
- Incorporation/registration Information
- Full legal name of all beneficial owners, directors, and legal representatives
- Address (principal place of business and/or other physical locations)
- Proof of legal existence
- Description of the business
- Percentage of ownership for Individual/corporate owners
- Contact information of owners, principals, and executive management (as applicable)
- Proof of identity (e.g., passport, driver’s license, or government-issued ID) for significant
individual beneficial owner of the institutional customer entity
- Personal Data for each entity’s significant beneficial owner of the institutional customer
entity (see the “Individual Customer” section above for details on what Personal Data we
collect for individuals)
- Source of wealth
- Amount of bitcoin or other crypto-assets projected to be injected
4. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
UZNEX uses Personal Data to contact you and to administer, provide, improve and personalize the Service. UZNEX may also generate aggregate data from any Personal Data we collect and use it for our own purposes. We may also use such data to contact you regarding other products or services offered by UZNEX and/or its partners. We do not share your Personal Data with third parties
We may transfer your Personal Data to third parties, including cross-border data transfers:
(a) If we believe sharing is necessary to enforce the Terms of Service;
(b) Comply with the requirements of government authorities, including regulatory authorities, law enforcement authorities and/or justice authorities;
(c) Third parties that provide UZNEX services (for example, administrative or technical services);
(d) In connection with the sale or transfer of our business or any part of it.
In addition, we have implemented international standards for the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing and circumvention of trade and economic sanctions, and will introduce final rules and regulations on virtual financial assets when they become effective, which will likely require us to conduct due diligence of our clients. This may include the use of third party data and service providers that we will associate with your personal information.
5. HOW WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
5.1. The data we collect from you may be transferred to and stored outside the Republic of Uzbekistan. They may also be processed by personnel operating outside the Republic of Uzbekistan who work for us or for one of our suppliers. By providing your personal data, you consent to this transfer, storage or processing as indicated. All information you provide to us is stored on our and/or third party cloud servers.
5.2. Your personal data is also processed and transferred to Sum and Substance Ltd, branded as Sumsub, located in the Republic of Korea. Personal data is processed as part of the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedure in accordance with the provisions of regulations aimed at combating the legalization of proceeds from crime, the financing of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

7. ACCESS, CORRECTION AND DELETION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
You have the right to obtain a copy of your Personal Data upon request and to ensure that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date. If any of your Personal Data is inaccurate, you may request that your information be updated. You may also request deletion of your Personal Data, except that we may deny your request for deletion in certain circumstances, such as for law or legal purposes. For data access, correction or deletion, please contact email@example.com.
In response to a request to access, correct or delete data, we will verify the identity of the requester to ensure that he or she has the legal right to make such a request. While we aim to respond to these requests free of charge, we reserve the right to charge you a reasonable fee if your request is repetitive or onerous.
Customers can opt out of these marketing communications at any time. If you do not wish to receive these communications, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For product-related communications, such as policy/term updates and operational notices, you will not be able to opt out of receiving such information.
While you are accessing UZNEX, we may use industry practice to place a small amount of data that will be stored by your browser (Cookies). This information may be placed on your computer or other devices used to visit UZNEX. This information helps us to recognize you as a customer, collect information about your use of UZNEX, in order to better customize our services and improve your experience. We may also use the information we collect to enforce our compliance program and ensure that the security of your account has not been compromised by detecting irregular or suspicious account activity. Most browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. Some cookies expire when you end your session, while other cookies remain on your computer or other devices until they are deleted or expire. You have the option to refuse the use of our cookies, but this may affect the functionality of the UZNEX services or your user experience.
10. INFORMATION SECURITY
We are committed to protecting UZNEX and you from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of the Personal Data we collect and store. We take various measures to ensure information security, including encryption of UZNEX communications using SSL; mandatory two-factor authentication for all sessions; periodically reviewing our methods of collecting, storing and processing Personal Data; and limited access to your Personal Data as necessary to our employees and suppliers, who are subject to strict contractual obligations of confidentiality.
